Jim Marshall

It is my sad duty to report to the membership that Jim Marshall (membership no. 1630) passed away suddenly on 11th September 2007 aged 58.  Jim was a long time member of MAFVA and known to many of us as a London Branch member, a 1/76th scale master maker and trader.  He had only moved up to the Midlands four years ago and had already become part of the local community.  He will be greatly missed by all his family, his wife Brenda, son Ben, daughter Louise and his grandchildren.  Likewise friends and fellow MAFVA members will miss him for his continued support.  He was always happy to help modellers with their latest projects, his smiling face and infectious laughter will be missed from the events that he regularly attended.  Jim’s legacy lives on through many “masters” he made for many 1/76th scale AFV traders.
